Staff Reviews

A companion title to previous Eight Cousins Picks, Alphablock and Countablock, Dinoblock introduces young readers to a wide range of dinosaurs through die-cut pages and analogies to familiar animals; "I am horned like a bull . . . I am a Triceratops (tri-SERR-uh-TOPS).” Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus (tye-RAN-oh-SORE-us) are likely the only two familiar dinosaurs in this book. The rest will be new to children and parents. Good thing each dinosaur name comes with a pronunciation guide.
