Mark your calendars! The Falmouth Public library is delighted to host author Alison Goldberg on the library lawn for a special reading of her new book Bottle Tops: The Art of El Anatsui, followed by a collaborative art activity featuring yogurt tops, paperclips, and used materials. This event is for all ages, but would be perfect for ages 7 and up.
About Bottle Tops:
Bottle Tops: The Art of El Anatsui is the inspiring biography of Ghanaian artist El Anatsui whose handmade sculptures, created from discarded bottle tops, have received international acclaim and been showcased around the world. About Alison Goldberg:
Alison Goldberg is a writer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the author of I Love You for Miles and Miles. She blogs about activism in children's literature and loves researching everything from marine life to contemporary art for her books. The event will take place on the library lawn. In the event of rain, the storytime and craft will be held indoors in the Hermann Foundation Meeting Room.
Eight Cousins will be selling books at the event.
