Apologies for the silence! We had trouble with our email over the weekend and were unable to send a weekly update. Perhaps the extra time might not be a bad thing; we were also experiencing a bit of a mid-point slump.
The good news is that we utilized an email-free weekend to reorganize and rejuvenate. Expect more news in our next email.
For now, we want to share your fantastic responses to our Celebrate Independent Bookstores and Celebrate Main Street Falmouth surveys.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send us your thoughts and recommendations.

Please continue supporting these lovely bookstores; the owners and employees of both stores have provided us with amazing support and have offered help, hugs, and snacks over the past few weeks.

Falmouth has a vibrant Main Street.
I love the effort that goes into the flowers and the seasonal decorations.
Supporting local businesses is important to me. I so enjoy coming downtown. Parking my car and just enjoying what the stores have to offer. We are so lucky to have this vibrant downtown which has something for everyone.
Our restaurants are fabulous, the library, I get my hair done at Headlines and our stores are well run and enjoyable to visit.
Love the sense of community among businesses and the way everyone decorates for holidays, especially Halloween
Love the free concerts in the summer and Arts Alive!
Get lunch and books!!
We (daughter and I) love the friendliness of the people who run the stores.
Coffee Obsession in the morning is wonderful.
We love strolling Main Street with our kids, stopping at Eight Cousins (where we have purchased books for the last 15 years!), getting ice cream at Ben and Bill's, having lunch at Anejo
off season easy parking...library
Share your favorite business (restaurant, lodging, shopping, entertainment, professional services, etc) on Main Street Falmouth.
Molly's Tea Room
Bear in Boots
Eight Cousins is my favorite place on Main Street. Although all of the restaurants and shops are first rate, no town is 100% perfect without the educational component of a great independent book store. Amen!
Maxwell's, Celebrations, Ben & Bill's
Glass Onion isn't on Main St. nor is Courtney's Flowers but they are favorites, too.
Bean & Cod
I also love Eastman's; everyone who works there is helpful and so knowledgeable about the store. The Glass Onion is my favorite restaurant.
Headlines, Maison Villatte, Eastman's Hardware and Kitchen Store, Twigs, Homespun Garden, Harvest, Setting the Space.
Love stopping by Bean & Cod for a quick lunch.
Anejo, followed by a visit to Eight Cousins, (and the Falmouth Public Library)
Port Cargo is our favorite store.
Favorite clothing store: Maxwell; Favorite restaurant: The Glass Onion; Favorite bakery: Maison Villatte; Favorite hair stylist: Sebastian at The Keep.
La Cucina Sul Mare -- food is marvelous, huge helpings. Lobster bisque good. Maison Villatte cheese bread -- yummy.
