Fun at Work
We're mixing it up a little this month. For the Fun at Work theme, we asked the specialists from Falmouth's Coaltion for Children to share their favorite books. Thank you, speciaists, for sharing and for all that you do to support Falmouth's families and children.
Tina: My favorite children's book growing up was Caps for Sale. I can still hear my mothers voice as she read it to us.
Denise: My favorite children’s book growing up was Little Black, a Pony. My favorite book to read to children now is Charlie the Caterpillar.
Norina: My favorite children’s book is the Golden Book of Fairy Tales
Rachael: My favorite children’s book is Mog, the Forgetful Cat by Judith Kerr, because my parents used to read it to me when I was little, and I sometimes have a hard time keeping things in my head!
Nancy: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault because it is so much fun to reading and so engaging for children.
Rosemary: From my childhood I would say, The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton. As a parent, I loved You Are Special by Max Lucado.
Amy: My favorite book growing up was The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
